In 2004 Wheelie Bin Art noticed a gap in the market for high quality designed wheelie bin stickers and were inspired to create a range of removable fun stickers that residents can easily use to makeover their wheelie bin. Wheelie Bin Art stickers are now being sold worldwide via it's website www.wheelie-bin-art.co.uk. 

Over the past couple of years Wheelie Bin Art have also worked with many UK councils helping to generate a positive interest in recycling and environmental issues

In November 2006 Wheelie Bin Art featured on BBC Radio 4, ‘You and Yours’ along with Lewisham Councils Recycling Team, on a programme about attitudes toward recycling.  Research has shown that decorating your wheelie bins makes you more inclined to recycle. In the London borough of Lewisham, councilors have dotted a grassed area with bins painted like Friesian cows, recycling rates have soared - with people queuing to "feed the cows" with cans, paper, glass, textiles, cardboard and plastic bottles.
